Michaels Maker Community was a beta-test website launched in 2021 to bring makers of all types together. Makers could join groups to chat about their craft, share ideas & projects, and offer help to others. Especially during the pandemic, when connecting was so important, this community brought people together in a positive way.

Makers can join discussions in different groups, and even subgroups. For example, painters who specialize in watercolor can enter that discussion to share their work, ask questions, give tips and more.
Makers can earn badges for completing certain tasks on the message boards.
